According to a letter from the second owner the VMCC state that only 3 other examples of this model are in existence

We are reliably informed that the only items that have been fitted to the bike from new are 2 tyres and one set of points

Purchased new by steam roller driver Charles George Edward Banks

When he married in 1929 his wife refused to allow him to ride the bike anymore so it was put into storage until 1984 when it was purchased by the present owners brother

As a member of the Bristol flat tank club he used the bike in a few runs and covered approximately 500 miles

He died in 1994 and the bike has not been used since

The present owner started the engine two years ago

Documents include old tax discs, V5, old MOTs, various letters  and a page from the VMCC magazine October 1994 showing the obituary of the second owner John Roberts

This represents a unique  opportunity to acquire a very rare and little used motorcycle in totally original condition
