One of a batch send to Spain for use during the Civil War
The frame along with others was modified to plunger type in Spain by Ignacio Faura
Spanish telescopic forks also fitted at that time
Other than that the bike is standard and even has the correct mudguards
Although the frame is correct for the period the Velocette club cannot identify the number
The engine and gearbox numbers are correct for the bike
Purchased by the present owner in 2012
Will need restoration
Very few of this type exist today
With purchase invoice, letter from the Velocette Owners Club and dating certificate from the FB owners club
