After the event 7 were sold and the the remaining bike ridden by Malcolm Rathmell  was returned to the UK and is now on display at the National Motorcycle Museum
The owner and builder of this replica was assistant British Team Manager at that time  and he used his in depth knowledge to build this bike
In 2014 he purchased most of an Adventurer (or TR5 Trophy Trail ) from USA and over a period was able to source the remaining  special parts to complete the project
His friend, Trophy Team rider and manager, Ken Heanes agreed to build the engine
A very attractive machine and no doubt the only one in existence
