A brace of iconic 1990’s Honda RC45’s are estimated to sell for towards £100,000 in the Charterhouse auction of classic and collector motorbikes on 30th March.

“The market for bikes ancient and modern continues to be strong.” Commented George Beale. “In the upcoming auction we have a great selection of bikes from the 1920’s onwards with British bikes including a Brough Superior SS100 from a client in Japan through to modern road and race bikes such as this brace of Honda’s.”

The brace of Honda’s are a 1990’s Honda RC45 race bike and a 1994 Honda RC45 road bike. They come from a private museum and are each estimated at £40,000-50,000.

The RC45 race bike was successfully ridden by David Jefferies, Brian Gardiner and Richard (Milky) Quale. The RC45 road bike was last used in 2007 and has covered just under 19,000 miles.

Both these bikes, along with over 100 other motorcycles, are being sold by Charterhouse Auctioneers at the prestigious Haynes International Motor Museum, Sparkford on 30th March.
